Thank you for visiting Information Era Marketing + Consulting, LLC. (hereinafter known as IEMC). The privacy policy tells you how personal information may be collected at this site. The privacy practices set forth in this privacy policy are for this website only. If you link to other web sites, please review the privacy policies posted at those sites.

Collection of Information
IEMC may collect information at several different points on our Web site and via email in order to better serve client and visitor needs. IEMC is the sole owner of the information collected on this site and on the email client. Under no circumstances will IEMC sell, share or rent this information in any manner to any unaffiliated third parties.

We use submitted contact information to send the requested information about our company, products, events and services. Any individual may withdraw their participation and opt out of receiving future mailings at any time. Clients may also contact IEMC at their mailing address, contact email or phone number listed below.

IEMC will not use client-provided content or email address lists for any purpose whatsoever other than to construct and send messages as intended between the client and IEMC. Email lists may be used for solicitation, but will never be provided to any third party, nor will they be accessible through IEMC by any client other than the client providing the information.

If an individual no longer wishes to receive IEMC communications, he or she can easily opt out of receiving them by following instructions included in each newsletter or communication.

Commitment to Data Security
IEMC takes every precaution to protect the confidentiality and security of the personal information of Web-site visitors and clients by using industry-standard security safeguards, such as firewalls. These measures are designed to protect visitor and client information from loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration. IEMC restricts access to such personal information to only those employees with a “need-to-know” for business purposes.

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents, and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from IEMC allow you to opt out of further mailings.

Automatic Collection of Anonymous Data
Following standard industry practice, IEMC uses pixel tags and other methods to gather information about the web traffic to its website users and recipients of emails sent by the company. Pixel tags are tiny graphic files that are included in HTML-encoded email messages. When such a message is opened in an HTML-capable email program, the recipient’s computer will access our servers to retrieve the pixel tag file, allowing IEMC to record and store information such as location, frequency, date and time the recipient visited the website. IEMC uses this information to optimize delivery of future messages to specific recipients and to provide information to users.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”)
IEMC will not knowingly accept any information from children under the age of 13. For any children under the age of 13, a parent or guardian will need to contact IEMC to provide consent for any portion of the site that gathers personal information. We require our clients to comply with COPPA with respect to their use of IEMC products and services.

Disclosures and Transfers
IEMC does not disclose personal information to third parties, except when one or more of the following conditions is true: (i) We have the individual’s permission to make the disclosure; (ii) The disclosure is permitted by law or mandatory professional standards; (iii) The disclosure is reasonably related to the sale or other disposition of all or part of our business or assets; (iv) The personal information to be disclosed is publicly available; (v) The party to whom the disclosure is made controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with IEMC; (vi) The disclosure is reasonably necessary for the establishment or maintenance of legal claims; or (vii) The disclosure is to persons or entities for which we are providing services, provided the disclosure is consistent with the purpose for which the personal information was obtained.

Links to other Web sites
IEMC’s Web site, or messages created with IEMC Services, may contain links to other Web sites. IEMC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other Web sites. Third parties may independently collect information about Web site visitors when they view ads or other communications from third parties. If visitors do not want those companies to collect information about them, they should contact these companies directly.

Changes to this Policy
As of May 15, 2010, IEMC reserves the right to upgrade and change the Privacy Policy as necessary. We encourage you to check back for upgrade and revision information. IEMC is not required to notify clients of changes to the Privacy Policy.
